Alex Stinebaugh Earns Eagle Award

Alex Stinebaugh receives the Eagle award

Boy Scout Troop 14 Scout Master George Herman, M.D. presented Alex Stinebaugh with his Eagle Award, the highest honor a Boy Scout can achieve.  Alex was supported by his parents Tom and Susan Stinebaugh and Alex presented a special award to his grandmother during the ceremony.  Many friends and fellow  scouts attended the ceremony.  His father is currently Mayor of Wapakoneta and in his role as Mayor presented Alex with a plague from the City of Wapakoneta.  Alex earned several more Merit Badges than was required to earn his Eagle award.

Ryan Vaughn Receives Eagle Award

Ryan Vaughn received his Eagle Scout Award from Dr. George Herman and Troop 14 on Sunday, December 27, 2015.  The son of Laura and Mark Vaughn, all are members of the St. Paul United Church of Christ.  According to Dr. Herman Ryan is the 27th scout to achieve the Eagle rank in Troop 14, the troop sponsored by St. Paul UCC.  To the best of his knowledge Dr. Herman believes the first Eagle award for Troop 14 went to Neil Armstrong.
