Ministerial Priorities

Your Endowment Gift to St. Paul Church

Endowment Funds align with and actively support the Ministerial Priorities identified by our congregation which are:

• Praising God through Music and the Arts
• Making Disciples
• Feeding God’s Children

FUNDS

Building Endowment – supports capital improvement / replacement / preservation / restoration

Mission Endowment – supports local, regional, national, and international outreach. Examples include local: Wapak Loaves & Fishes, God’s Storehouse, and Summer Food Program. Regional: Crossroad of Ft. Wayne IN, Ohio Conference Missions. National: Back Bay Mission in Biloxi MS. International: El Salvador & Ukraine Missions. Heifer International.

Music Ministry Endowment – supports the Adult Music ministry, the Youth Music and Arts ministry, organ and piano maintenance, as well as special music such as the Raleigh Ringers, Full Gospel Chamber, and others.

Living Endowment* – supports Faith Formation. Examples include Church Camp Ministry, Ministerial and Religious Education of members of our congregation, and F.E.A.S.T. (Faith Education, Art and Spirituality Together).

St. Paul Families & Friends in Need Endowment – supports Families in Need as recommended by the Pastor and supervised by the Finance Committee with Approval from Church Council in an atmosphere of caring and confidentiality.

*The Living Endowment Committee – consists of eight members of the congregation. Each member serves an eight year term in a rotation resulting in a new or existing member being nominated to serve and approved by Church Council. The Living Endowment Committee is charged with the responsibility by the Church Council to implement a plan that encourages planned giving to the existing church’s endowments in support of the ministerial priorities identified
