HANGING OF THE GREENS – Join us at 3:00PM next Sunday, November 24th for the Hanging of the Greens at St. Paul UCC. Help us to bring in the beauty of the Advent season by lending a hand in decorating both inside and outside the church. Many hands make light work! Cookies, cider, and hot chocolate will be provided to help us get in the holiday spirit. Please let Pastor Becky know if you are able to help.

 NOISY OFFERING – November 24, and December 22 should be the next two Noisy Offering Sundays.  The October 27th noisy offering raised $120.98  for Loaves and Fishes. November & December noisy offering will be used to assist St. Paul Families in need for Christmas. Thank you all for some more wonderful noise.

  GOD’S CREATION CALENDARS – We only have two God’s Creation calendars left! Each month has a beautiful picture with a scripture verse. This year we also have notepads with scripture on them to sell. The calendars are $7.00 each and the notepads are $2.00 each. They will be available at the bazaar on Saturday, November 2nd at the Faith Formation table or see Cheryl Short or the church office.

CHRISTMAS POINSETTIA ORDERS – Please find the Christmas Poinsettia order forms in the back of the sanctuary or in the church office.  We would like to once again have the sanctuary filled with Christmas poinsettias.  All orders are due by Monday, December 2nd and must be accompanied by a check made out to St. Paul UCC.

OFFERING ENVELOPESYou will be receiving offering envelopes for 2020 soon.  If you presently get offering envelopes and do not wish to please let Cindy in the church office know as soon as possible. If you wish to receive envelopes and do not please let Cindy know this also.

 COMMUNITY THANKSGIVING DINNER – Local residents are invited to attend the free Wapakoneta Community Thanksgiving Dinner, Thursday, November 28, from 11:00AM to 1:30PM at the St. Joseph Parish Life Center. Please use the Blackhoof Street parking lot to access the Parish Life Center. All are welcome to bring family and friends to enjoy good food and fellowship. Dine in only.

THROUGH THE BIBLE IN 90 DAYS – Have you ever wanted to read the Bible from beginning to end, but just never quite got around to it? Now is your chance! By investing half an hour to forty-five minutes of daily reading, you can do it in as little as 90 days. Join Pastor Becky and others who are committing to venturing deep into God’s word for weekly discussions each Thursday  beginning on November 7th at 6:30pm in the Ritter Room, beginning on Thursday, November 7th.  Come and explore the scriptures together! All are welcome.

HEIFER INTERNATIONAL – Many thanks to all that donated on Heifer Sunday. Our baskets held $452.00 and we hope you enjoyed a cookie. We will still be collecting for Heifer from now through the month of December. If making a check, please make it out to St. Paul UCC and in the memo line write HEIFER.

WAPAKONETA AREA MINISTERIAL ASSOCIATION – In this season of thankfulness, the Wapakoneta Area Ministerial Association extends its sincere gratitude to St. Paul United Church of Christ and  its congregation members for their participation in Servants Day.  Your support allowed our brothers and sisters across the community to live in greater safety and comfort.  A special thanks goes to the church’s representatives to the planning committee, Linda Bryan, Tom Shaw, and Ed Shroyer, and to all who volunteered their time and skills.   We thank you for being Christ’s hands for Servants Day.

CRISIS CENTER FAMILIES CHRISTMAS WISH LISTS – The mission committee has adopted two families from the Crisis Center for Christmas. The wish lists for the families are posted on the bulletin board in the breezeway at the back of the sanctuary. Please take a look at the lists and let us know what you can help provide to make this a truly Wonderful Christmas for them. Thank you in advance to all those that contribute. Items will need turned in by December 15th.
