Members and friends of St. Paul UCC. We are looking for people that would like to share their talents with us during Sunday morning worship this summer. In the past we’ve had vocalists, instrumentalists, and even dancers. Please contact Wendy Schlenker if you would be interested in sharing your talents with us. We are looking for all ages and levels of musicianship. Please do not feel that you have to have formal training to do this. It’s always great to see members of our congregation enhancing our worship service!! You can reach Wendy at email@example.com or 567-204-1966
Gardening for the Food Program
Doris reported there is cabbage, cauliflower, carrots, kohlrabi, peppers, tomatoes, and cucumbers growing in the garden. Weed guard will not be able to be used for the green beans so help will be needed to keep up with the green bean patch weed control. If folks help with the garden, they may have vegetables without a donation. Otherwise, there will be a donation basket for any vegetables brought to church to help raise funds for the food program.

Genesis Bible Study
The Genesis Bible study with Pastor Janice has now started, but if you have ever been curious about some of these characters, you are still encouraged to attend. God uses humans exactly as we are to accomplish miracles in the world. We will learn how God enabled some very flawed folks in Genesis, and explore how God can use us as well. The study will be on Thursday evenings from 6-8PM
Servants Day September 16
Organized by the Ministerial Association, Servants Day is an opportunity for volunteers to help repair the homes of those in need in the Wapakoneta area. Typical jobs include painting, cleaning, plumbing, carpentry, and yardwork. Applications and donations are now being accepted for Servants Day. Servants Day will be Saturday, September 16th, but we need to know potential projects and the funds there are to use by August 4th. There are applications for assistance in the back of the sanctuary, and donations can be made to St Paul UCC designated for servants day. If need any other information please call the church office or contact Linda Unrue at 419-296-3744.

Calling all young artists! We need your help! In August and September, we would like to include artwork from some of our young members on our bulletin covers. We will be accepting artwork from kids age 12 and under, corresponding to the following Bible stories/themes:
- August 13 Joseph and his many-colored coat—Genesis 37:1-4, 12-28
- August 20 Joseph reveals himself to his brothers—Genesis 45:1-15
- August 27 Pharaoh’s daughter draws baby Moses from the river Exodus 1:8-2:10
- September 3 Moses at the burning bush—Exodus 3:1-15
- September 10 The first Passover—Exodus 12:1-14
- September 17 Moses parts the Red Sea—Exodus 14:19-31
- September 24 Moses gets water from a rock—Exodus 17:1-7
- October 1 God provides manna in the desert—Exodus 16:2-15
Participants may submit entries for multiple stories. The child’s name and the Bible passage should be written on the back of the artwork. Parents, this is a good opportunity to read scripture with your children and to help them engage with sacred story in a new way. As you turn in submissions, please keep the dates of the stories in mind, as we would like to publish the pictures on their corresponding Sundays. All submissions should be received by the church office by September 1.
